Birds. They are
REALLY cool pets. But sometimes they are harder to take care of. You have to clean a birds cage once a week. Using hand soap for a birds cage is fine. Birds need plenty of toys to play with because birds are very playful. It is good to get two birds because they might be happier with a play mate. Birds usually need the following supplies.
- A good sized bird cage
- toys
- wood stand
- seed catcher
- bird seeds
- water
- bird cage cover ( optional )
- cage stand
- a lock ( to make sure your bird doesn't escape)
- seed skirt ( optional )
With birds you need to be able to play with them as often as possible. Also, you should sometimes let them fly around so they can get some exercise. If you get two birds you want to make sure they are the same type of bird because different types may get in fight and quarrels. You should feed a bird 3 or 4 times a day. Personally I would recommend 3 because 4 may be too much. Every month send in a picture of you bird and email it to me at birdstar78@gmail.com and it may become the bird of the month!
